Joining Forces With Met Film School
For the second year running, PALA has been fortunate to team up with the Met Film School on an incredible project to showcase our brand.
Since 2003, The Met Film School has been one of the country’s leading institutes for both under and post-graduate students, and its production company, MetFilm Production, has achieved critical and commercial success worldwide.
Students at the school are able to collaborate with real brands as part of their studies. PALA worked with a group of the school’s MBA students, led by producer in training Claudia Kaleta, to develop a brand video for us.
We met with the team and agreed on a brief for the project, titled ‘See The World’. The goal for the short film was “to animate the spirit of the brand – of creativity and adventure, of energy and style. To notice and to be thrilled by our surroundings, and to be hungry for more.”
Three weeks later, they presented us with a storyboard and notes on their creative direction. After a little refinement, the team was ready to begin filming – and all PALA needed to do was to supply the sunglasses!

The end result can be seen above. We hope you agree that it’s an amazing piece of work, one which we think captures the ethos of the PALA brand brilliantly.
For us, this represents the beginning of the PALA journey – a Brighton based eyewear brand that started as an idea on a piece of paper, but with grand ambitions – not only to create a stylish, desirable product, but to give back in a tangible and meaningful way.
The Met Film School partnership has been fantastic and we’re grateful to Claudia and the team for all their hard work. Thanks also to Chris Maples, CEO of Met Film School and Steve Pinhay, Head of Screen Enterprise, who have made this collaboration so easy – long may it continue.
