Collaborations

Pala are always interested in collaborating with partners that share our values and will help to extend our story to new audiences. Our ability to work in small volume batches enables us to be agile and flexible.

We provide a great opportunity for other brands or corporate partners that want to offer their customers or teams something truly unique – the chance to create a custom branded frame made from the very finest materials alongside all the added value that comes with working with a B Corp that puts people and planet first.

Lucy and Yak collaborate with Pala eyewear on a limited edition collection of eco friendly and sustainable eyewear.

In our biggest collaboration to date, Pala partnered with our Brighton neighbours, iconic conscious clothing brand Lucy & Yak to launch a limited edition collection of sunglasses.

Producing 2 exclusive frames in 6 colours to compliment the bold and self-expressive style of Lucy & Yak, all sunglasses were lovingly handcrafted in Italy from the finest bio-acetate whilst the print design team really outdid themselves by designing custom paisley printed microfibre bags, branded box sleeves and even a real postcard.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel sunglasses made by Pala

Pala are proudly working with Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai. What started as an opportunity to provide sunglasses to their luxury Spa and Wellness centre in their Jumeira Resort developed into branded frames for their staff too. We split the style across two colourways to give their staff a choice. The beginning of an exciting partnership which we look forward to growing further.

Madeleine Olvia designed sunglasses for Pala

The area of ‘design collaboration’ is an exciting space for us, providing the opportunity for a person to quite literally put their stamp on their very own design. It gives great material value through being able to tell the story behind the purpose of design, as well as the excitement of a highly limited commercial release.

Our most recent collaboration with sustainable living influencer, Madeleine Olivia was a great success.

veloce sunglasses made by Pala

Pala partnered with Veloce Racing for the inaugural new climate-aware Extreme E series. The partnership saw full Veloce Racing team kitted out with limited edition branded frames for the season. The series aims to raise awareness in areas around the world affected by climate change and visit territories – arctic, desert, rainforest, glacier and coastal – such as Greenland and Brazil’s Amazon region.

It also shapes the equality conversation – each team including one male and one female driver, which in the case of Veloce were W Series Champion Jamie Chadwick, one of the UK’s brightest young talents and French all-rounder Stéphane Sarrazin.

A marriage of values, this was a very natural and successful partnership.

C Mauritius Resort custom branded sunglasses

Pala were invited to created branded sunglasses for C Resorts (part of Constance Hotels and Resorts) for their inaugural Kite Surfing Festival. Using the incredible playground of the surrounding ocean, reef and fair amount of wind, our sunglasses enjoyed their tough assignment to the max!

A hotel with a continually developing sustainability agenda, this was a partnership that made sense on a number of levels.
